====== Google Calendars ====== You can add a Google Calendar to your website and collaboratively work on it using multiple people. In order to do this, you must create a separate calendar. - Log into your Google Apps Account - Click **Calendar**. - Go to the **Calendar Settings** under the "Gear" Icon in the upper right. - Click the **Calendars** tab. - Click the **Create new calendar** button. - Give it a name. - Click **Share this calendar with others** checkbox. - Click ** Make this calendar public** checkbox. - Add other people's email address to maintain the calendar (e.g. principal, secretary), select **Make changes to events** under **Permission Settings**, then click **Add Person** - Finally, click **Create Calendar** This creates a new sub-calendar to which you can add events separately from your personal calendar. When adding events, make sure that the proper calendar is selected! In order to add this calendar to your website, you will need a page that is empty except for your standard navigation. In the place of normal content, we will place some code that Google provides to us. - Click **Calendar**. - Go to the **Calendar Settings** under the "Gear" Icon in the upper right. - Click the **Calendars** tab. - Click the name of the Calendar - Scroll down to **Embed This Calendar** - Copy and paste the HTML code in the textbox into the template page. - Publish your page as you normally would.
