In order for an exam exemption to be displayed on a report card, a comment must be added to the Exam grade within PowerTeacher Gradebook.

From the Gradebook, a teacher must select the “Exempt from exams” option in the Comment tab for the EXAM assignment for the individual student.

On the Report Card, “EX” will replace the space under the Exam grade for the appropriate term.

Please note, this is separate from indicating that the exam grade is Exempt when calculating the student's final grade. Teachers still need to do a right-click on the exam grade and select Exempt.
